The Kanawha Board and staff are excited to welcome you back for the 2026 season!
We work hard to ensure that our annual budget is put to the best use it can be with every dollar going towards keeping the facilities at their best. Kanawha operates as a non-profit, and our goal is to continue to be the best recreation facility for our members as we’ve worked to do for over 70 years.
Dues Timeline
You can pay your online dues starting January 26th through March 8th. Your membership may be forfeited if you do not pay by March 8th, and you will incur a late payment fee, so please ensure a timely payment of dues. Dues can be paid by credit card (2.89% processing fee) or ACH payment. No checks can be accepted for dues payments.
Given our large waitlist, we appreciate your on-time payment which will allow us to efficiently work through the steps of onboarding new members. If you intend to resign your membership, please let us know by emailing membership@krarva.org no later than March 8th. Additionally, please reach out if you are now eligible for a new membership type (ex: you qualify for Senior Membership).
2026 dues
- New member initiation fees:
- Family Initiation: $2500 (New families only)
- Senior Initiation: $1,000 (New seniors only)
- Family Membership: $1,025
- Senior Membership: $630
- Eligibility: For individuals age 60+ (as of March 8) and one additional adult living in the same household. This membership covers only the senior and one other adult. If the membership would include children, additional family members, or any dependents we would require a Family Membership.
- Honorary Membership: $0
- Eligibility: member for 20+ years and age 75+ as of March 8th OR has been a member for over 40 years
