Clinic/Ball Descriptions

PEE WEE
A great clinic to get your child introduced to the sport of tennis. Our pros will teach your child the basic, age-appropriate skills of tennis. We also have activities planned to help build hand-eye coordination, balance, and focus! Recommended racquet size: 19”-21’’

RED BALL
Boys and girls ages 5-7.  Using smaller racquets, shorter nets, and a red ball that moves slower and bounces lower, your child will learn basics such as the parts of the racquet and court. They will also learn the strokes including forehand, backhand, serves, volleys and overheads. Recommended racquet size: 19”-21’’

ORANGE BALL
Boys and girls ages 8-10. This ball is a step up in difficulty from the larger, softer Red Ball.  Children will work on basic stroke production, begin to rally, learn scoring, and begin match play in preparation for youth match play.

YELLOW BALL
A clinic for girls and boys who are interested in continuing to play tennis at a higher level The clinic will focus on stroke production, consistency, point play in preparation for matches and/or USTA tournaments.
